Inbound marketing is a philosophy built around helping people. with inbound, you will create services that make your prospect feel valued in any journey they will have to take during the buying process.

Your inbound methodology should go thus:

Attract + Engage + Delight = healthy customer.

One thing you should realize is that customers don’t want to be sold to, they want to be educated on the problem your product is solving in their life. While inbound marketing is all about information, you shouldn’t forget to tailor each info to suit a specific group of customers that have similar needs. Customer segmentation would work in this regard.

What You Need to Understand First:

  • your company principles
  • company purpose
  • business goals
  • buyer personal
  • buyer journey

Some things you should do while you are at it:

  • standardize for consistency
  • personalize for impact
  • optimize for clarity
  • use empathy

Do remember it’s your company purpose that really determines the kind of information you will be passing to your customer.
